Viola/violets are one of my favorite flowers.  I love their rich purples and the way they spread or reseed themselves across an area with no effort on my part!  These are contained though by their pretty little cup.  If you are in our area of the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, I have paintings on display at The Hoffman Estates Village Hall, Hoffman Estates, IL, The Dole Mansion in Crystal Lake, IL and The Old Courthouse Gallery in Woodstock, IL.
