| SPREADING HER WINGS ORIGINAL WATERCOLOR PAINTING IN MINIATURE BY COLLEEN SANCHEZ 6X6 VISIT MY ART BLOG I thoroughly enjoyed creating this little watercolor painting. The main rose opening with such delicate shades of pink I worked wet into wet with shadows added after she dried. I really had a lot of fun with the supporting buds too, always a challenge to make sure not to overpower the main event. The background I did with rich paint, lifting and dropping in colors. Hope you like her. |
