I snapped a photo with my camera of my expresso cup sitting in a beam of sunlight on the tile table top one morning at Cafe Trieste in North Beach, San Francisco. Cafe Trieste had been my favorite coffee shop in this country. I discovered it back in '79 when I lived there. It hasn't changed since the poets, writers and artist's hung out there in the 1950s and '60s.
