"Clay Pot" 12" x 12" acrylic on canvas
Still life paintings are my guilty pleasure. I only paint them when I just feel like it.
I've painted these objects several times. I just really like them. I bought the clay pot many years ago at a garage sale. (Note to self: go to some garage sales to find cool things to paint.) The "plant" is silk. I used to keep them both in my office when I lived the corporate life. People were amazed that I could keep the plant thriving in an office with no windows. Ha!
