One of the fun things about exhibiting at fine art festivals is getting to visit with folks about art in person. I enjoyed meeting the art lovers who came out despite the chilly weather. Red Verbena and Bosc Pears

The first day of the Cottonwood Art Festival in Richardson, Texas was great. It was a little cooler than I had expected and I wasn't dressed warmly enough. But there were lots of people out to enjoy the day and see some art. Here is one of my paintings that sold today. Tomorrow is the last day of the festival, October 7th from 10 am to 6 pm. Grab a jacket and come on out!

Lemons and Red Geraniums

I am excited that the weather for this weekend at the Cottonwood Art Festival should be fabulous! Here is one of my newest paintings that will be on display. The light playing on red geraniums from my backyard and some lemons give a fresh feeling to this painting - just like the weather forecast through the weekend. It is going to be a great festival in the Dallas area. I hope to see you there.
