Pear Still Life by Jill Saur
Dynamic, colorful, and uplifting, my 14"x11"x1.5" acrylic palette knife painting, with the image painted on the sides, is loaded with texture and ready to hang. Painted in a modern style, this piece is sure to be the focal point on any wall. This painting is in my gallery in Contemporary Fine Art International. It can be purchased immediately through a secured check-out. CLICK HERE

Pears on Canvas by Jill Saur
“Love Jo all your days, if you choose, but don't let it spoil you, for it's wicked to throw away so many good gifts because you can't have the one you want.” - Louisa May Alcott, Little Women
This 36"x48" over-sized painting, "Love Triangle", hangs in the home of a patron who had their eye on it for over a year before they purchased it. I've also reproduced this in a hand-embellished limited edition giclee on canvas, for clients who need a focal point for their room and who love the story this painting tells.
This painting is about unrequited love. The two pears on the left represent two people in a relationship, ignoring the third suitor on the right, who eventually has to turn away. Unrequited love is painful. But what we want, is not always what we need or what's best for us.
