If you've ever been to the beautiful Lodge in Cloudcroft, New Mexico you've seen this wonderful view.  From Rebecca's Restaurant you have this view of the Tularosa Basin and White Sands National Monument from the picture windows.  This is why they call them "Picture" windows!

This painting was created to be entered in the Point and Shoot Challenge offered for the month of November by Ria Hills on her blog site. Ria and her friend Pamela White Murphy started these new monthly challenges last month.  All paintings are done using their photographs as the starting point.  My first gull and I think she has personality!  10% of the sale of this painting will go toward Kimberly Conrad's fundraiser for breast cancer.
