Frog In The Kitchen by Angela Sullivan

I don't know why I am here. I was outside in the garden when I noticed that someone had left the door open. I hopped as fast as I could and reached the front door. Unnoticed I jumped as fast as I could until I was in the kitchen. On the counter was this set of stacked bowls. I leaped up on the table and found my place. I go undetected even now. As people pass by they just think I am some little cute whatnot not a slimy green toad.

This one took a week of hard work and a lot of layers of paint until it was perfect, and those lines on the plate made me see checks before my eyes when I went to sleep!  I'm finally happy with it after a lot of fine tuning.

Thought I would post today's painting I did for the Daily Paintworks -Balance Challenge. I appropriately named it Leftovers because no one would finish the end of the blueberries. I must say I always under estimate how much time these small works take! Had a lot of fun once I got into it. Feedback always welcomed.
